A guidebook describing 50 walks in the Serra de Tramuntana mountains in the northwest of Mallorca. Exploring the island’s rugged limestone peaks, many of the routes involve steep ground, navigational challenge and hands-on scrambling, and are therefore primarily geared towards those with some experience of mountain walking.

Walks range from 4 to 24km (2–15 miles) and can be enjoyed in 2–8 hours. Divided geographically into seven sections, they can be easily accessed from mountain towns and villages such as Andratx, Sóller and Pollença.

About the Author

Paddy Dillon is a prolific outdoor writer with over 60 guidebooks to his name, as well as more than a dozen booklets and brochures. He writes for a number of outdoor magazines and other publications, and produces material for tourism groups and other organisations. He lives near the Lake District and has walked in every county in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales; writing about walks in every one of them. He has led guided walks and walked extensively in Europe, as well as in Nepal, Tibet, Africa and the Rocky Mountains of Canada and the US.
